The biggest enemy you have to deal with is yourself. ~Les Brown
FOMO is a popular millennial term meaning: Fear Of Missing Out.
It stems from this “social media era” where we’re seeing—mostly—the “sizzle reels” of “friends” lives. The cameo photos of people and events all having a great time achieving, celebrating, creating, laughing and interacting with all kinds of friends can easily engender a sense of being “less than”.
This millenia puts “keeping up with the Joneses” on steroids.
Yet it’s always been thus. It’s always been that we try to present our “Sunday selves” to the world. It’s just that “the world that sees, has grown exponentially.
The truth is, then as now, the only person you need to compete with is yourself. To be the best version of you and to strive to be better today than yesterday. And when you fall short, to forgive yourself, learn the lesson, and grow.
No matter where you are in life and no matter when in time, there will always be someone ahead of you and someone behind you.
Learn from those who are ahead, help those who are behind and continue on your way.

And while you’re there, have fun, laugh, dance and create!
